End of the Ent's

So anyone who has seen the "LOTR" trilogy should appreciate our title... For those of you who do not, let me explain...

The Ents were tree creatures... BIG TREE CREATURES... and this is all that remains of a couple of the big oaks we took down. As you can see by our naked lot, we took out A LOT of trees.

In just two weeks, the trees were down, the lot was cut and we have a mountain of dirt to begin our retaining wall project...

Anyone want to play with big concrete LEGO'S?

As of 4/16/2008 we had our temporary power pole up. Our septic tank should be in soon! In the meantime the Jeopardy theme song plays in our heads as we wait on town paperwork to be completed... again.

Welcome To The Construction Site Of Our New Home

We have been blessed with a beautiful lot on Twin Oaks Drive that my mother left for our family when she passed away last May. It has been an honor for the three of us to build the home we will live in later this year. Please feel free to visit our website as we upload photos and journal on the progress of the foundation my mom gave to us to mark a new beginning. We look forward to sharing our memories with you.
